Spirituality in action

the moment present part33. The Art of Freeing Yourself from the Past.

The past is gone, never to return. Regrets and mistakes must fall away like autumn leaves. No one can bring back what’s already behind us. Rather than dwell on it, we must focus on the present moment, which alone holds the power to heal, transform, or harvest the lessons of what has been.

Phrases like “I should have known” or “if only I had known” belong to the realm of imagination and memory. We must let go of the past, not by rejecting the wisdom we’ve gained, but by paying attention to our attitudes in the here and now. It’s always worthwhile to remember what helps us grow, what brings us fulfillment and joy.

Pleasant memories are the flowers of your inner garden. They reflect your balance, scent the present moment, and embody the fruit of wisdom, clarifying your judgment and nurturing your serenity.

The present moment has the power to bring immediate inner peace. It invites us to draw on all the beauty and positivity that life offers.

Forgiveness is the past transformed by the present moment, a past that leaves behind only what is constructive.

The present moment is the vessel that holds time. The past must not stain it; the future must not crowd it with artificial flowers. It is meant to carry peace, joy, serenity, and goodness.

The present moment is the most wonderful moment of one’s life.
