It was in the Chapel of the Résidence de la Fonderie that the renewal of commitments as Volunteers of God took place. Following Mary's “yes”, we committed ourselves to be a welcoming place for Jesus in our lives, living the Love of Christ everywhere in the present moment.

We listened to Yves Granger and Michelle Arcand's song, “Dans la maison de Marie” (In Mary's House), which helped us understand Mary's journey and our commitment as Volunteers of God. Paulette Chénard gave us a brief summary of the Oblate spirituality.

We were also delighted to welcome Lucille Lemire for her first commitment within our group.

Thank you to Louise Fleury for her involvement in preparing the activity and for presenting us with a quiz on the history of Father Louis-Marie Parent and the spirituality of the Institute of The Oblate Missionaries of Mary Immaculate. Well done to all the participants for their wonderful results.
