Reflection on Father Parent's thoughts:
To say yes to God's will is to accept without understanding.
It is a journey of faith similar to that of Mary, which requires humility and surrender in order to let God act. We must give up our need for control and trust in divine wisdom in everyday events. We must also be certain that He will inspire in us the will and the means to accomplish His will. This requires a sincere heart in prayer and silence in order to listen and hear His voice.
Let us ask Mary for help in saying yes to God's will in our daily lives:
--yes, to joyfully embracing our Oblate vocation in the 5-5-5 experience in 2026; --yes, to no longer standing in the way of God's plans for our lives; --yes, to being living witnesses to His Gospel always and everywhere.
