“In
all the circumstances of her daily life, the Oblate is led to live
the requirements of the spirituality of the Institute, based on
a life of prayer that creates apostolic attitudes and stirs charity
into action.” (Constitutions, art. 1.15) |

Our relationship
with Christ is at the heart of our life so that we can first let ourselves
be transformed. Every day, we drink from this source of life.

What guides our spirituality is the commandment Jesus
gave to his disciples before he died, "Love one another" (Jn
13:34). To achieve this degree of love, we aim at developing five specific
attitudes:
- Presence of God
- to be mindful of the presence of God in the present moment;
- Abstention from destructive criticism - iterior
and exterior
- to avoid destructive criticism by a kind and positive perception of others;
- Abstention from useless complaint - interior ans
exterior
- to refrain from complaining by welcoming all events in a positive
spirit;
- Being of service
- to dedicate our life to the service of others whoever they may be;
- Peacemaker
-to do our utmost to build peace in all circumstances.

Under the impulse of our love for God and neighbour, we
discreetly perform gratuitous acts of kindness for the benefit of others.
